Openbox S10 is a good basic HD receiver if you just want to watch SatTV programmes. If you want to record or set up viewing schedules I would look for a more expensive option.

Mine is connected to a motorised dish and it works just fine for what I want.

HD quality is very good and works well with cccam.

That's a good information, thanks! So my mind is changing again I was turning to the DM800 direction but now you make me think about it because it's a really cheap receiver...

You will not beat the DM800 clone for price nor quality no matter how hard you try.

Remember cheap now can be pay again in near future making it not cheap at all. Sometimes it's worth paying a little extra.

What to do... Hard decision, i can buy 2 Openbox for the price of 1 DM800... Well i need other informations (good or bad) about openbox to take a decision maybe.

DM800 is cheaper and i am not sure your technomate can do cccam?

The TM 5402Hd can do both cccam and newcamd and is a very stable box, if the op can hold out for a couple of weeks there is a new baby spiderbox coming out called the Eaglebox 800Hd priced around £90 and will be better specced than the S9 or 10 and will not be a clone.
