If you don't want to buy in china and if the dreambox is in good condition why not. But in China you can have a brand new clone for around 130-140-150€.

yes but this is local and will save money from import taxes as well as time and worries if it come safe etc. the question is not if its worth the price but if its worth to get this one (a used clone) when other receivers are selling for a similar price.

I replied you but (i don't know why) someone erased my message... So i told you that at this price dreambox is the best HD receiver i tried, cheaper receivers are way not so good (openbox...).

            i have a vu duo, a dm 800 and a f3.
the f3 cost me £45, for that price its a good box, hd picture is as good as my other box's.

Media player also good quality but why nobody has put vlc in one of these boxes I will neve know as it plays everything. Mine was 55 quid with usb dongle.

Good graphic processors cost a lot and definitely you can't find them in 100€ decoders, besides a lot of cheapest ones don't support 1080p output but only 1080i

Be careful Black box 500 is not HD, no dvb-s2 support.

                      Re: Best cheap HD receiver??

my advice is to buy something to which you can find support easily, that is being used by many people. I have yumatu receiver, it is ok but there is nothing i can find online about how to install software or to update encryption system.

so buy something with lots of information on here or on ******

I suppose it depends what is meant by good and cheap..!
I saw this one recently , if you just want HD free to air , it is hard to beat
Xoro HRS 8530 goes for as low as 40 euros ,gets fair reviews
                            or
Megasat HD Mini Powerbox HDTV SAT Receiver £33 on amazon, Skybox F3 at £58 ..
or openbox at £50 , you pay your money and take your choice..

                              Best cheap HD receiver??

Mvision HD-260 WIFI 90 €, It's the cheapest, and quite complete, also supports iks, besides cccam, and has good firmware support.

                                hi joseram2000

I agree (have a 270 myself), only I'm not convinced about the support (most probably because I don't speak spanish - also not convinced about the iks+support/service) - cccam is only client, but basically seems to be a very good box for it's price (my opinion).
