I completely agree with you on this (think posted before, but don't remember in which topic it was) - anyhow: my findings were best result with only 1 or 2 lines active - further: I suppose this goes for receivers in general (not only spiderboxes - I even don't have one ).

ps: this was in combination with an active freeserver of the box itself (don't know how to deactivate this with internet/server on).

just thought i would post this, i use a spider7000.

as we all talking about lines here and there, i found that if you have too many lines, (that was in my box)>8 lines i had.
problems opening chns, especially hd, cure was that i removed 5 lines, now only using 3, chns now open in seconds.
so best not to be greedy, too many lines causes a lot of confliction, a couple of good ones is all you require, thats what i found anyway.

Does anybody know how to enter cw keys in the hd9000 i can enter biss and any other type of keys but i cannot find were to enter cw in any of the setting

I do not think you can M8, I seem to remember several occasions when this question was asked on the A***t forum and usually the same answer, that it was not possible, wish it was and hopefully someone will find a way.

I am up and running now on premium service, just a small hiccup, but Satlover sorted out. Thanks to Toby69 and others for help.

@jeanpick. sure you will be impressed.

The Spiderbox 9000 can be used as both Client and Server if you so desire, it has the ability to do both. just be sure not to share any lines from Satlover Forum = Instant Ban.

Thanks. Just sussed it, so I can now share my UPC card from Spiderbox to my Topfield (using Fausto/Season Interface for Client on my Toppy) with the Spiderbox Newcamd Server, just as you say have to make sure I have the SatLover servers OFF while I do this as the Satlover server also has 3* CaIDs 0D02 (Crypto), 0D97 (ICE), 1815 (Nagra) for UPC Direct active Very rare I would need 2 (let alone 3 - the toppy has two tuners) channels at the same time from UPC Direct, just good to know I have two card readers I can link to my PC...

satlover should issue you with 2 sets of lines, just enter them in your spiderbox, as you would any other lines you have used previously.

Motor control gives me these options

store sat position
goto sat position
goto 0
reset position

BTW I checked my lat & long and they are ok.
I am using USALS if that helps.

Could it be the firmware version is wrong? I do remember there was an update which changed the appearance of all the menus.

Try using diseqc then and see if you can bring it round to 30 west if this works store this position and try using Usals again

I personally have never used this aspect of the Spiderbox and as you say it is limited to 10 shares but then that is no problem when you just want to keep a close circle of " friends",
there is also as you so rightly said the problem of abuse.

Go to menu then installations motor control then limit off this will disable the east and west limits
