Hi all,
would like any info regarding the use of Strong's srt 4300 for cline especially in the area of internet connectivity.
I have already configured the cline into the receiver, configured the IP settings, but when I connect, i get an error message saying "can not connect to device".
I am using a rs232 to LAN cable to connect the srt4300 receiver to my laptop. The laptop is already configured to share internet access via the LAN port.
I am wondering if there is something I am missing in the connection.
P.s:- My srt 4300 does not have a built in LAN port, so the internet connection has to go through the rs232 port.
Any ideas?

That isn't entirely true as I'm using a free line which performs better than most paid servers that I have tested!

Hi, be aware, then you can use only one satlover c-line. Read the rules:
1)Pls dont use more then One Cline for avoid blocking from servers FIREWALL

i don't know what oscam can but cccam can easily handle both clines an nlines even glines and more

I use free lines from 3-4 different sites so they all back each other up and dont get much freezing

Without wishing to sound obnoxious you have been lucky and must have time on you hands to test all these free servers, reliable free clines are a bit of a lottery surely you can agree to that?

Hi my Oscam CAM is included in Qbox HD mini,
It's clear how to organise structure but it's not clear if it will possible to add more than one kind of line (C - N)
Someone could clarify please?

there are probably an option to set in the oscam settings

isnt it the case of picking a free line that no/one else is using that you say this or is the free line a test line from another server?

I have free lines from a few sources which work well (and are not test lines). I was simply responding to the statement that there are no good free lines as that isn't true.

Hi

I have recently got myself a Spiderbox and am trying (unsuccessfully) to take my first tentative steps into cardsharing. (so I am a complete noob making my first post on this forum)

I have tried entering about 10 different lines from the 3rd Sep 2500 free Clines but have had zero success. I have no idea if I am just unlucky in picking lines already in use or if I am doing something wrong or if I need something from the hidden section (10 posts or more). I can receive the Spiderbox own "gift" so I do not think my internet is the problem.

Any assistance gratefully received.
