Toby, clines are entered correctly and am told I have a connection.
Sataday, thanks I have tried putting the same cline in server 1 and 2, to no avail
Bandit, don't think you can "turn off" the gift, the only connection showing is for the cccam. maybe I should start to look at nlines now.

To turn off the gift on 2.15 patch go to Menu network and turn off service+ then exit good luck with n lines

Hi Kerve,

So I dug out my old Spiderbox 5000 and had the exact same issues as you.

However I did have success with an nline. I suggest you try to get a 24 hour nline on test and see how you get on with that.

Still getting "scramble".

I have rescanned, loaded a few different patches including 2.15 (Although I don't have access to vasiks patch), tried a few clines.

I do get the message I have a connection, but still only getting fta channels.

If you are sure you are connected and the cline you are using is still valid it should work ok make sure the gift is still turned off if no luck with that try a nline to see if that works

Kerve. If your still having no luck after following what toby has said.
Try this: Enter your ccline, and then enter it again on the next row down (exactly the same)

Not near my box at the moment, but thanks for the link to the patch Pjmuk, I am pretty sure the patch I had was the latest. I said 3.32 in my post but probably mad a mistake and was 2.32 then.
I'll give 2.15 a go tomorrow and post back, looks like it may be the issue if others have had problems.

The last patch is 2.32 and so say it sorted out connection with cccam problems but there is still reports of the cccam not working with this patch so most users have gone back to 2.15 and this works fine

Hi Kerve,

Which patch do you have loaded on the box?

I seem to remember that some of the newer patches were worse than the older ones for clines and nlines.

As others have said try using the 2.15 patch. I have uploaded it in case you do not have it.

Try loading patch 215 the last patch they done caused cccam connection problems so every one went back to 215 and this seemed to sort out the problem hope this helps if it does not work try the latest vasiks patch

I'll give this a go on monday, looks hopeful, will report back.

I have been experiencing a few glitches/freezes lately so I'll take your advice and revert to the March 2012 patch and see if it helps.
I will report back.

Continued.......After going back to the March 2012 patch, things seem to be a lot more stable.
So, to summarise, if you are using iks, then use iks patch.
If you are not using iks, then use March 2012 patch.

Try loading patch 215 the last patch they done caused cccam connection problems so every one went back to 215 and this seemed to sort out the problem hope this helps if it does not work try the latest vasiks patch

I have done a factory reset, loaded patch 3.32.0, reloaded the .db file and entered a server 3 cline, (having a mild panic when the network menu didn't appear! Then remembering to type "1111" in the options menu)
But still only getting fta, although I do have a connection.
Do I need any other patch, key etc.?

But dont you all think the end to the support came quicker due to the 9900 HD having a significant design flaw with a F100 failure rate 10 times higher than the 9000 that made retailers with draw it from sale,so it would make sense that they would try and bring out a new model that people would feel confident in buying a spiderbox again.

I would agree with you on that scooterman, box seems to have been a major problem, I think it would have been sorted had it not been for the fact that the powers that be pulled the plug and really pisxxd off the patchmakers leaving them high and dry. I think it will be a very long time before anyone will want to commit themselves to investing in any product from this set-up.It takes a long time to build confidence in a product but not to lose it.
