benchsirius, thanks for reply, did you just try an active line and if it started freezing up, you discarded it and then tried another until you came across a stable line, is there any way you can tell a stable line by just looking at it, if you could it would save a painstaking job of going through all the lines.

I have found that once you get a line that is working then there is not any point in trying any more, the freezing will happen on all, it is just down to the time of day and the amount of users, unfortunately because these lines tend to be posted on the Internet by rats then you will suffer with these problems of too many users.

It depends on the time of day on how many freezes you get early in the day and not that bad but later in the evening lots of freezes on server 3

Hi to answer Tesco, I think it depends which cline you use and how many you have up.
Obviously only use 1 satlover cline per server or you get banned.
If clines are busy sure they freeze but I have had some working for weeks without a freeze up I don't use sly as I subscribe anyway.

There have never been any updates for the full running of a spiderbox for 2 years since the code writer for the app that runs a spider stopped doing them, full support stopped with him ceasing, and who can blame him for all the shite he got from irate box users who did not know what they had bought into. like mentioned previously the two patches where for for specific sats and if you did not view channels that where not free it was no use putting the patch on your box.

Hi, sorry to but in, i hope this Spiderbox chat is for every Spiderbox user. I have a Spiderbox 9000HD. I have been following the chat. benchsirius said the clines are very stable, does he mean the free ones, as i have tried them and they freeze quite often, they are only used to see what channels you can get before you go into Premium membership which i now have. I have the iks patch and i purchased a year iks membership which runs out in November, i find Satlovers Premium clines quite stable, just one or two freezes, Premier Sports on 28e glitches a bit, and Sly Sport F1 was freezing a bit at the weekend, but it was no worry as i have Sly World, i got the clines for other sats.

I find the clines to be very stable , my patch goes back to March last year and all is well.

I would totally agree with not installing the IKS patch if not using that service. I have previously posted on the problems I experienced with constant glitching when not connected to service. I do not think you can acquire this patch now unless you subscribe to the service.

Users have also experienced problems with the latest patch installed so it is wise to revert back to an older firmware that has No .IKS patch incorparated, as the new patch is just for users who have re-registered for the new IKS patch so called Gift software.

It is considered good practice to switch off this feature. As the system no longer exists everybody who owns a Spiderbox no longer has a "Gift". It is also usually considered good practice to have the latest patch as there are often updates in these which may not be obvious.

Hi it will not matter if the gift is turned on or off if your gift has run out It will ignore it.
Just make sure if you are using a line if c or n that you have the right setting for the line.
Patches the last two patches for boxes where for specific sats if you do not watch those sats then you do not need any new patches the box will perform has it as done faultlessly.

Kerve did you manage to get the spiderbox sd to work on a nline with patch 2.15

I'm sure a lot of people would like to know how you came on Kerve.
It might help anyone with a similar problem in the future.
