for info (usefull, although bit off topic ... - don't know if this was posted here somewhere before) - to test if a remote control still works: look into a photo or videocamera to the rc and push the rc - when is works you should see the light while pushing.Comment

I have found that the Lidl Aldi brand universal remotes are great value for money i always buy Tevion and have never had any problemsComment

using of universal remote instead of original may demage u r box or lcd led tv I suggest that never use universal remote but the original one is better as universal remote is always of low qualityComment

What an absolute load of Rubbish they maybe low quality in your country my friend but i doubt anything sold in the European union that has passed standards is low quality, My Harmony one costs twice the amount of an original remote and has been working my devices quite easily for years.Comment

Have you read any rewiew or any investigation about this issue?
I have used many universal remote controls for different devices for many years without any problem.
