It could be.

But your strength readings are similar to mine so I would have thought it was set up pretty well.

Check the frequency info I posted against yours, see if those are the same (the channels might have moved or something).

The DigitAlb bouquet has 5 frequences on 16 east:

channels you can't recaive are on 10758 V it is one of two TP with wide spot.

So first of all check if you can recive the other tp on this spot: 10719 V, on this tp you should receive those channels: Supersport HD1 e 2, A1, BBF, Supersonic Tv, Tirana Tv, Nat Geo Romania, Nat Geo Wild Romania, Travel Channel, MGM, Fox Life, Fox Crime, CNN, TCM, X3, X4, Telenorba.

If you receive those channels your dish is able to receive also the TP with sport channels. If you see the channels I've listed and not the sport channels problems can be one of this two:

1) Your receiver has lost channels parameters, so try to retune your receiver.

2) Your LNB has problems on some frequencies, so replace it.

Do this test and let me know.

I get all of those as well.

Have you put in the correct lat/long yet? That will definitely make a difference. If you were in Germany, I bet you would not be receiving anything without the correct long figure (but the UK is near zero longitude which is why you get most things).

i moved the dish in between and get all now but at a lower signal rate i think your further south than me i got this from another site Yes the earlier satellite Eutelsat W2 suffered failure and drifted off east, not sure where it is now but I think it was end-of-life failure. The 2 replacement satellites that moved into position where Eutelsat W2M and Eutelsat Sesat.
Eutelsat W2M moved in from 3.1 degrees east, and now sits at 15.86 degrees east.
Eutelsat Sesat moved in from 36 degrees east, and now sits in the location 16 degrees east.
I'm not sure on the beam widths and strengths etc, but they are completely different now so will need remapping. Its seems they may be more focused or less strength, thus needing larger dishes in further west and north areas. but i will try the long lat with a factory reset thanks for the help tonybod

I'm right on the south coast so probably best placed in the UK to get strong signals.

Glad you at least get the channels (and hopefully the signal is still strong enough to get an unbroken picture).

Before spend your money for a big dish check satellites footprints, some beams can't be received also with 3 meters dishes, it depends how the beam is oriented. If you're too far from footprint is impossible to receive a digital signal, was different with analogics signals, in past was possible to watch something using big dishes and low thresold receivers also out of footprints, but was really bad result, now with digital signals if you don't reach the min ber you'll see nothing, digital or works or not, can't work with weak signals.

Yeah, I thought of getting a bigger dish to reach other beams but I'm way out of their footprint so I just dropped it. For instance Astra2D 28E has a beam that can only be received in the UK... The most interesting one of course :P

Note: from 1.3mt and above the picture displays Prime-Focus dishes, which are more reliable than an Off-Set Dish.
PF gain is higher because it use the whole dish surface, OS just the upper part.
PF mechanical elevation is different and suffers of snow and rain attenuation.
