Not cancel mate but changed the way HD channels are broadcast so that
cccam at the present can't decode therefore you get scrambled channel.

So if i understand correctly, there is no problem with the encryption but with the broadcasting.
Is it known the new codec system of broadcasting that the HD channels are going?

The way its done is via the MHEG5 stream the ecm is encrypted and then un-encrypted in situ

another idea

my understanding is that shyt provider has requested their clients to upgrade
from their current image (img1) (cs-compatible)
to a newer image (img2) (cs-not-compatible)

with a ?new? smart card

? correct ?

1.- now let assume 2 satbox with the old compatible system:

box1 + img1 + smartcard + server cam <- cs -> box2 ( without smartcard) + client cam

tutto perfetto


2.- now let assume 2 satbox with the new not compatible system:

box1 + img2 + smartcard + server cam <- cs -> box2 ( without smartcard) + client cam

total chaos


3.- now let assume 2 satbox with the new not compatible system, but with the same image (img2) generated on box1, with the smarcard

box1 + img2 + smartcard + server cam <- cs -> box2 + img2 ( without smartcard) + client cam

shoud it work ?

that may be considered as a exciting technical challenge ...

I think maybe that is what sky call a smart card, it is smarter than the last one
Just have to wait and see what develops, it could be quite a wait though.

All HD Movies have now Gone completely except TCM HD and Film4 HD as well as the first sport casualty SS4HD.

Expect more channels to go Tuesday and Thursday this coming week

tcm hd and film4 hd are still working today, all the other hd movies channels are off. how will sky uk do it? i read my cards with oscam.

The exact same way they have been doing it the last few weeks, It wont matter if you have your card in Oscam or CCcam the HD channels will be gone

Its same problem with sly italia on hotbird, only SD channels working , no HD
