I use 13e,19.2e, and 28.2e. They deliver sports, movies and lot of others.
Because SLY uk stopped HD channels I'm thinking about 27,5W.

Hi,just wanted to share my opinion which is different way for Eurobird (28.2e).
Some channels like BBC1 broadcast Brazil Mundial matches and movies
Just alternative for SLY channels which only work in SD now and someday may disappear at all

That transponder has a symbol rate of 44100. Very few boxes can handle that.

I have a vu+solo2 with one available dish of 80cm.

Do you think that my box can handle it?

I saw the channels on kingofsat and I noticed that there is nothing else except from bbc channels

... my venerable dm500 gives the menu to edit such a transponder ...

don't you have this facility on your more recent satboxes (vu+ ,dreambox 800, ...) ?

also,
according to the footprint of this sat,
i am impressed that such a big dish is required (not less than 1.2m also in UK) to receive numeric tv from a british provider like bbc, in homeland ....

I have this sat 27.5 west working on vu duo & solo2, in addition to BBC it has Ch 4 HD & ITV HD.
But it is not for the faint hearted it only works on selected images and boxes on Linux, the notable image is the latest Openpli. And iit also works on a few non Linux boxes.

However it needs keys, special scripts and a special channel list most of the work on the Linux boxes needs to be done manually including installation of the softcam Ymod and editing the lamedb after you have stopped enigma.

Technomate Tm 5402 and Blade BM 7000 are reported to work ok for the BBC package
Current Biss keys are more of a problem.

Acording to @nml my vu+solo2 with openpli4 image installed should be working ok with 27.5w.
The only thing I must find is some free time to install my rusted dish
