These are the most popular sats. You can try 16e and 9e, 7e. All depends what speciality you are looking for. Most of the sats will have a repetition of channels in different languages including English. You can't get rid of them wherever you move your dish. In the future they might introduce speciality netwroks only. like I want sport network so it will include all the sports channels from all over the world. If someone wants movies network then they should have all the movies channels from all over the world. I think it will be more fun.

16.E and 0.8W Intelsat has good Channels.
Hope that Total TV on 16.E will work again soon over CS.

actually on the 1W there are SPI HD channels in test

I have 13E, 19E, 23,5E, 28,2E. Theres more than enough to keep you occupied there. I have a multi lnb setup to a 4x1 diseqc. Quicker to change channels between sats and no tweeking of dish required. Plan to add more through modifying or getting a longer lnb holder arm

thats the only benefit of a fixed system, (fast switching only) you dont know what you missing, time to get a motor i think, why you add more if already plenty occupied, i know cos there a whole lot more you missing. 16e/7e/26e/ even 3e which many peeps have tried to get and failed, a throw in of half a dozen greek chns mainly english audio.

Yeah good point Toby. Some sats like 16e and 9e, i cant fit onto the arm because lnb is too big. But i'm also kind of restricted to eastern sats as the western sats are blocked by the house next door. Another benefit of fixed dish is the ability to record channels from other sats.

Loads of english audio out there. Most of the movie channels have english audio option, and quite a few sports and documentaries as well.
On my vu+ duo I set the language to english or original and it comes up automatically.

Very interesting are all swiss channels, lot of movies and serials, all with original audio.
All greeks channels broadcast movies and serials in English with subtitles, because greek dubbing doesn't exist.
Last but not least Al Jazeera Sport double audio in english with the best european football match and a lot of other sports (american with original audio)

I've made it like this: bought a twin tuner (linux), on the first one is 4x1 diseqc too for 'normal' TV watching, and on the second lnb is motorised dish for signal hunting, and it's connected through loop output to USB DVS-2 card

French networks are a bit stubborn about this and they don't always have English audio. I love ARTE channel but it comes with French or German audio only. The rest of the networks most of them have English Audio.

One of the French networks Music channels on 19.2e
It mainly plays French/English pop music but later in the evening it telecasts two interesting programs.
1) Le Zap: show funny clips
2) Dance Your Ass Off: A unique dancing program for over weight people to participate in a dancing competition and loose weight. The more weight you lose the more points you get. Very interesting.

If you go on to hxxp://en.kingofsat.net/search.php you can check out channels that broadcast in english, also don't forget to check original audio also

sometime its not even described on kingofsat about the audio. But when you go to the channle and check the audio it will tell you another audio broadcast stream. They wont describe the language but you will have to try it.
