Don't try "SkyStar USB 2 USB ", there's no such card.
First read this thread from the beginning.

Re: Recommend me a DVB Card

I have a Skystar USB 2 HD CI since 4 year ago for 120 €. This work fine with motor, all dvbplayers, all plugins (Acamd, hadu, flycccam, wincsc, etc), HD channels and have CI module (I have never use it), IPTV.
Also I have friends that use Hauppauge and they say that work good.
In any case you should to buy a dvb card with HD channels support and with a lots of information in the web, for you can play

If you need information, ask me.

I agree with you, SkyStar is for me, the best DVB Sat Card, working fine with DVBDream and all plugins available. I use hadu and is amazing. Anyway I recommend an SkyStar S2 HD, because of high quality and 3 warranty years.
                Best regards.

Can you help me with hadu settings? I have various problems and I don't think it's cline related.

Is really very easy configure hadu.
                    I use dvbdream.
                    Go to plugins folder.
Then copy hadu.ini and hadu.dll into this folder.
OK. Then you must edit hadu.ini
Only must convert c-line to hadu line
In example if you have this c-line

                    C: myserver.com 12000 Myusername Mypassword

                    you must copy as follows

                    [Server1]
                    Server=Cccam:myserver.com:12000:0:Myusername:Mypas sword

                    And save your hadu.ini file

This is all. No more. If you get freeze images maybe your internet bandwith or your c-line is not so good. Perhaps there is a problem with your renderer or video or audio codecs.

My configuration is ffdshow video decoder, ffdshow audio decoder, enhaced video renderer in SD configuration and Arcsoft video HD decoder, ffdshow audio decoder for HD configuration. You must have 2,8 Ghzs processor speed, dual core and a dedicated graphics card 512 MB. at least in order to watch HD sat tv. Win 7.
                    HDPack 2.4 free edition.

                    Try another c-line.

                    Best regards.

Re: Recommend me a DVB Card

Thanks for reply. I know all that, I use it for about a year. I suspect my hadu advanced config because it behaves weird. Sometimes cline just stops and I get "no decoding peer" or "no usable peer" message as if there are no card on server but if I restart player I get the picture immediately. And sometimes everything seems ok, cline works (send ecm, got dcws...) but there is no picture. Also friend told me he had exactly the same problems with hadu but now it works excellent on some amiko box using the same cline.
I asked here 'cause you said that hadu works good for you. Could you provide me your ini configuration, without cline of course. Here's mine, Is there any difference?

Ok, I understand. The same problems for me too. I think is a hadu bug, but I say it works fine, because freeze is very rare, sometimes I get black screen but not so much. I suspect I can't help you with the hadu configuration because I have active the default hadu emu configuration.
Maybe internet bandwith, maybe c-line quality, I don't know why....but I'm very satisfied with my SkyStar SD2 HD and hadu emu.
                        Best regards.

And sometimes everything seems ok, cline works (send ecm, got dcws...) but there is no picture. Also friend told me he had exactly the same problems with hadu but now it works excellent on some amiko box using the same cline.
Some time ago I faced the same problem, maybe half a year ago. Approximately at the same time I noticed another config - vdr+wicardd stopped working with satlover c-line at all.
So I guess it was something like server version change in satlover's server pool or something like this.
So this issue has nothing with your hadu config file - it's default.
I use GI 8120 (it's another name of amiko alien) for now with satlover c-line. It works perfectly with it.
Maybe acamd will work better, but I seriously doubt.

I still have not tried other plugins, only acamd+altdvb combination but altdvb crashed and it's my favorite player...
Also I think there is little chance some other plugin has easier and quicker cline input procedure then hadu (just copy paste) and it's very important for me.

For me hadu is the best Cccam emu. And DVBDream the best PC Sat viewer.
Progdvb crashed for me too in the past time and so I use DVBDream.
There is a cccam to hadu converter online web page.
                              Code:

                              Best regards.

It's way faster to use Config Hadu.ini
                                Code:
                                http://www.sl-forums.com/forum/dvb-cardsharing/30156-latest-version-config-hadu-ini-by-fta_boy.html
It can edit config file directly (convert and input). You just paste and click "add" and "save".

It's a little out of the topic but I have one question:
How it goes when you have some box? Is there any out there where you can edit clines just as quickly and simple?
I have big troubles with my skystar hd2 and I would like to get rid of it, but unfortunately in my country you can't buy any other dvb card, and don't know anything about STBs...
