my vote is for pli mainly because of its movieplayer, other images have litle support for playing divx, that was the main reason why i choose pli for my dm500 clone. No freezing related problems here.

So called 'time bomb' in Gemini image affects clones and make them pretty unusable. There are versions with removed time bomb.

I have a Gemini 4.6 bomb free (i guess) on DM500 clone, no problem so far. Is movieplayer in PLI able to play network files and does it support subtitles. That would be great.

I tried several images for my DM500s clone named Soleron which is 1:1 copy of original DM.
The most stable and friendly in my opinion is evolution from satkeynet. They have online support and the box is verry stable.

Hi,
on several forums I read that the bomb was activated in the Gemini 470 no bomb, I have so far used this image but I have now moved to the EDG Nemesis 4.4.my proposal to eject all the Gemini 470 no bomb and install another image.

Gemeni team want fight dm clone by all the ways that you can imagine ... so maybe they changed the bomb emplacement that even the bomb checker will not find it ... so be aware dealing with Gemeni

It's too bad they decied to go this way, may be they are related in some way with the manifacturer of Dreambox?
At least now there are enough alternatives for images out there that can replace Gemini image.

There are better padged images for dreambox clones than gemini.
I think PLI and NABILOSAT images are better to use on your clone than gemini.
