I was thinking of trying the OpenPLi-unstable-dm500-20100810-133 image, any feedback on this one ?

I tested but I'm not satisfied with that OpenPLi-unstable-dm500-20100810-133, I think the best Gemini 470 no bomb, I'm doing and work good.

Its happend with original (Gemini 4.70)(i have original too) 1-2 times block in day,
Its normal for Dreambox ,I think.

Ok, guys, I need some help. I got my dm500 yesterday and put pli image on it. Eventhough I downloaded cccam 2.1.4 from the menu it still shows cccam 2.1.1... I'm not sure whether I like the pli image either. Is there someone who could help me today via IRC/MSN/Skype? The only requirement is to know what you're doing (cause im a newbie..) and have a good written english. (you dont have to talk, its enough if i can understand what you just typed )

I dont know,maybe channel list and certainly this is due to overheating, Dreambox 500 is a lot of warming up without the fan, and some people have told me that because of the adapter, but I do not mind, it is important to do.

I think it makes when you switch programs from different providers. Maybe it causes overloading the memory ...

Mine freezes way too many times a day. Especially when cccam is waiting for a new dcw and it's not getting and i switch channels cause I get bored like hell... I'm using a PLi image. Is it normal? CCCam starts hanging and nothing happens, not getting new DCWs or anything. When I switch to a new channel the info still shows the crypto system of the previous channel where it started hanging...

Is this normal? Should I try a different image?

I tried a few images but only one that works without too much freeze the Gemini 4.7.0 no bomb, to me, PLI is a very poor images and a lot of freezes.
and one more thing, in the var /keys put Autorol, Constant, rom120, Softcam.
Use Ciefp last settings list (you have the satlover).
If you want my all cccam files i will sent you.

It would be great if you could also link me a working gemini image as well. You know one without timebomb. I really thought of switching to Gemini cause this PLi image isn't only confusing but I think it's freezing like hell... Thanks mate, you can pm me the links and stuff.

Thanks mate! I'm using your files but uploading an openpli image now. The gemini i used till now froze like every minute, it was really annoying... I just hope it's not my box or I'm gonna be super pissed at the chinese. I'm trying the nightly build of the openpli image right now, somehow I did not really like the gemini image I had... (It was supposed to be a 4.70 no timebomb image.) I couldnt even set what audio language I prefer and stuff. (Maybe i was blind)
About your cccam prio, it has like no UPC and RCS cards at all... Since those are the ones I use I think it's kinda useless to me. Not sure though... I'll keep you updated what's with this nightly build and if its not working out then I'm gonna try your gemini image. (Dunno if there is a difference between gemini images)

freezing depends on the server and users who use the same line, gemini 4.70 no time bomb is a good image

I'm using gemini 4.7 on the dream 500 clone for a long time, defects are not noticed, works fine.
