Try PLi image

I don't have DM800 but I'm using PLi image on my DM500s clone and it works the best. But it might be a bit advanced as it exposes many configurations that many users don't need.

I tested a lot of images, and the DreamElite ones are very very good. Rapid, stable, EPG on quite all channels and TNT Usb key support for dual receiver capabilities.
The latest (1.3.3D) patched one for Sim2: http://rapidshare.com/files/39757858...-ramiMAHER.nfi

For Sim1, you need to install this image and to install an old BootLoader (79 or 70) : http://www.multiupload.com/US04F5GDU6

For E2 DM boxes ( Dm800 ,8000 etc ) DreamElite is by far the best . Stable , quick and with capability to use a USB TV tuner for MPEG2/4 terrestrial channels . Dont look anywere else .....

For E1 ( DM500 etc ) look for Pli JAde or OpenPli

xlman80 exactly each one is doing its work and after having tried many will use the most comfortable. however I never changed the gemini on my original dreambox

Mostly it is a subjective decision based on what you like and dont like in an image.

Gemini:
Works closely with Dream Multimedia so you can expect better support. Been around a long time. But this means that new Gemini images are a risk with clones .
Doesnt some features that Nabilo has e.g. easy EPG, support for Digital TV USB tuners .
Good for first time users


Nabilo Dreamelite :
Good EPG support
Digital TV USB tuners
Needs to have some experience to get the most out of it .

So the decision is yours

Sorry, I don't have (I actually don't use Multiboot an I directly use a patched version for sim2).
