These boxes do not like heat.
If your receiver is enclosed in a cabinet, get it out to a more ventelated area.
Try cooling the box and you will see the diffrence.

Also remove any plygins or addons like picons and EPG etc.
The memory is rater small.

It's not a problem of overheating because i got freezes on mine even after 2 minutes on. I also tried light images without many plugins, less freezes but freezes anyway.

I think that your box may need a medical checkup.
Look for any part that may be showing sign of overheating like going black or brown.
This also includes the power supply.
One or more components may be nearing to fail.

I opened it and no sign of burning. And i changed the power supply but nothing good.

My friend the blackbox dm500 receivers are the lower quality receivers that you can find in market . I used to have one also and i through it away after a month . They are piece of junk . You are just loosing your time and your money . Get a non clone for piece of mind

I have similar black DM500s bought from dalextreme.com . Problems are the same and nothing helps me . I have changed Power Adapter with one 12V/4A and have put cooler.
But without any success.

I have had a silver DM500S now for a year. No problems whatsoever. China import $97.00. aliexpress
