Problem with black DM500s clone

Hi! I have a black DM500s since a couple months and i have a persistant problem. I tried many images (OpenPli, nabilosat, gemini...) and everyday, 1 or 2 times a day the Dreambox freeze, i can't do anything, remote doesn't reply, button doesn't too. I need to unplug it to reboot an after that it's ok but sometime 1 hour later it will block again. Sometime it works 2 days without problem, sometime 3 blocks in 1 hour...
I have seen that when the problem appears and I'm watching an fta channel the image doesn't freeze and i can watch but no more remote.

maybe you have installed a plugin there do it
and the plugin doesn't working properly
and i believe that your box are a clone maybe you should use a clone image

Thanks! I use only clone images don't worry. The only plugin i need is cccam so i installed it on some images and on on other some it was already installed. Maybe my dreambox has a problem?

the problem seems to be a faulty overheating tuner or bad power supply...

that's how some (many?) clones are ...

I found this sentence i can try because all my cables are in the same place:

I carefully separated the power cord from the satellite cable and ran the box for a while.

Indeed power supplies can be a pain (2A) in switching mode.
Why not buy a new one, delivering a real 2A. You can find some on e..y.

Good idea! But i need to be sure. I have another DM500s, older one but never freezes. I'll try to switch power supplies to test.
If i have 2 or 3 days without freeze on the black DM500s so it's that

Well it seems that changing power supply works for now. No freeze since i have changed it.

So, where can you buy an another power supply for the dreambox? In every SAT shop?

The sentence said to change the power supply, you can find some on ebay

Well, it seems that changing the power supply solved the problem but since 2 or 3 days i git freezes again and need to reboot the dreambox unpluggin it because no response from the remote...

did you check the post about faulty tuner I've pasted earlier?
did you try to access the dbox via http or ssh/telnet to check if it is really frozen of if only the remote didn't work?

Thanks! Yep i checked the link but it look like that it's a problem with crypted channels only (cccam??) because when it freeze on a fta channel i can watch it without problem but when i wsant to zap it's impossible and i need to reboot unplugging it... I didn't tried to access the dm via ftp when a freeze but it's not a remote problem because the image freeze too because no more cryptkeys are received i think. I tried many images and cccam version. Freezes are not so often with the last image (open pli) and with some images there were mane more freezes.

Try changing the ccam version. I also had a problem like that some time ago,
