How to guide: Unlock your DM800 or DM800HD clone

How to unlock a locked up DM800 or DM800HD Dreambox satellite receiver. The receiver may have locked up due to a bad flash or other corruption, this may help you

Connect PC and receiver with serial cable and a crossover network cable nullmodem
if decoder direct PC-to-pin or pins if using a router or switch

a decoder off

Start DM800-repair
start DreamUP_patched_by_forhike_and_natas

click on the DM800-repair center and proceed as a normal dreamUp

that is, click connect and power the decoder
at the end you will see the progress bar as if by magic on the display of the decoders’ recive IP,
at this point or continue with the same or Flashwizard DreamUp (I used Flashwizard)
