I find it terrible that the xbox one does look at you all the time what ever you do.
You haven't got any privacy because of that and you allways need to be scared what they do with the recorded data.
It is against the privacy and I think I am not the only one who thinks like this.

Don't think anyone would want to be looked at all the time, but when you don't want it to look at you put it in a box or cover it , simple.

This console is not going to fare well if they invoke an always on DRM, or attempt to charge a fee for using a second hand game.

Furthermore, microsoft seem to think we all need an entertainment platform? umm, no.. most of us want a dedicated gaming machine, with some multimedia function.

The way i see it, TV's will be the entertainment platform, they will obviously become more advanced than the current line of 'smart' tv's, so i'm not sure what microsoft are trying to achieve, they should have conmcentrated solely on a gaming machine, because this entertainment platform they are proposing, will become redundant very quickly.

I read that kinect wont be 'on' (as in watching) in sleep mode. It will only listen for xbox on commands - and you can disable that...

The policy of used game is a bit more flexible than we thought but not that much more you
will be allowed to sell a game if you bought it new but the person you sell it to will not
be allowed to the game will locked to their console. Your family and friends will be allowed
to share the game but you have to give the names to MS and must have known them for
longer than 30 days, this policy seems tome to be intrusive to me what to you think?

            __http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/gaming/news/a487937/xbox-one-used-games-online-policies-clarified-by-microsoft.html

MS has stated that the kinnect will not listen to conversations and not upload them but
the revelations about U.S security getting private info from big USA companies doesn't
            fill me with confidence.

On a side note all games will be available for downloads on release date.

Consumer is always right. If people accept the changes and go by it, no one will change anything as the money will be keep flowing, but looking at win8 example if people start moan and decline to buy/support the product even such big names as M$ will change the behaviour.

We need to wait for final details and either accept it or start raise our voices

I can't help but to think that EA have pushed microsoft into doing this..possibly in exchange for some exclusivity deal....

As it stands, this whole lockdown on what you can and cannot do with games you own is putting me off, and i will not be purchasing this console.

You are right if they charge for using a second hand console or second hand game the console will bomb.,,. however PS4 , XBOX are all basically PC's , so does this mean a resurgence in PC games. Probably. PC games are moving away from DRM and even being released DRM free. Some DRM free games are being pulled from pirate sites due to this.. must be a good thing

I totally freaked out last week when I read about the second hand gaming.
I don't understand why microsoft does that because when I was small I did borrow games to see if it is worth buying it .
Now you will pay a fee and it won't belong to you.

The knock out blow for MS and Xbox has come from Sony and PS4 and that is no used game policy.:D

I was always favouring Xbox but now with this new restriction on used games I defo lean towards PS4, where they announced nothing gonna change. Another advantage of PS4 is faster RAM GDDR5 which in theory will allow better graphics but that to be seen in games. Kinect is not much of value to me and paying 80 pounds more for that I prefer to get proper gaming machine from Sony for £350.

M/s will have do a u turn on the game locking policy or they loose a lot of loyal customers to Sony

MS has always been arrogant the message they are sending to the users of
Xbox is that you can't be trusted even when you pay for the game it will never
be yours to do with as you please after you finish playing it. What other product
has such restrictions once you have paid for it? I for one will be opting for the
                                PS4.:p
