The backlash that MS faced and fact that many people were saying they were
going to abandon Xbox in favour of the PS4, MS has had a change of heart. :rolleyes:
They have dropped the used game policy and the always on internet policy.:D

Looks like the £85 price difference and user backlash has worked. Lets see if they drop their price next , after all PS4 = PC XBOX720 = PC .. There would be a massive market for cross platform gaming, ,,, that would be my wish ( I don't mean flash btw)

M$ learned hard that people turned away from them, so risk of loosing the market share and future revenue was main reason for U-turn.

Now after that decision it's getting a bit harder to make a decision between the two. Xbox has great controller and interesting ideas for a gameplay, but it's 80 pounds more than PS4 which has great free games with PSPlus subscription and potentially faster GPU. For now need to wait how the fight hotting up and what comes out.

Its all getting interesting now i think that when it comes to the date that they both go on sale in the shops they will be around the same price as each other

I suspect they will be bundled up to make the price point less clear. For me , it is too expensive. It is probably already possible to build a pc better than the xbox 720 for less money. £200 less and it would be a winner but it is really expensive for the casual user, which is 60 - 70% of the console market.

One more thing in favour of PS4 over Xbox One is that they are including a head
set while a separate purchase must be made for the Xbox, the price of which is
not known yet. For gamers Xbox seems to becoming even more expensive and
before purchase what is going to be bundled must be taken in to account to
know what the true cost is.

Just watched a review on the gadget show and it showed the xbox one and the ps4 they both look great the ps4 being a bit cheaper but you need to buy a camera as a extra were the xbox comes with connect as part of the price so i think it will be down to personal choice what you buy

Thankfully they changed their strategy and now i don't have to go to PS4 since i always had all consoles, nintendo, ps, xbox everything. But i still prefer Xbox, there is nothing that really should now give me a think of buying an PS4.

I have just tried to reserve a xbox one for my son for november and they said pre orders had gone crazy seems like everyone wants a new xbox one and they said the same was happening with playstation 4

So the kinect thing isn't included now on the xbox one ?
Crazybandit, have you seen any package or it's just the console with one pad ?

The connect comes with the xbox one but no camera with playstation 4 you have to pay extra for that .The package i got with the xbox one comes with one free game as well but i do not know what the game will be until i pick up the box may be the latest fifa

think it's a console fully supports network-level and stream, with all products incorporating windows 8 no?
