That infos are not correct!
When did Sky Germany used anything else then Betac and Nag* systems?
Only when it changed to Sky and Ruppy Murdoch become their new boss did Sky Germany adopted Videoguard as official encryption system...
Luckily they haven't been forcing latest NDS as in Total TV case, since it wasn't as profitable as Total TV. In order to use some new system you need real base of users to test it. Since Total tv was small provider in it's conception, it was most logical choice on the table.
If it proved that latest NDS failed, it would be least damage to Rupert Murdoch fortunes.

Unluckily for us Total tv did went bye bye.
Hopefully when Sky UK, Germany and Italy leave us behind new NDS, will Total tv hack become known publicly!!!
Fortunately ex Premiere, Sky Germany is in 1721 CAID and IS viewable through Nagra.

That's some history as it went by, to inform you btw ...

Thanks for your explanation, is fully correct.
Only thing is it's really pity that the ex-premiere's (eg premiere 1, 2, ... - now called sky select) aren't open anymore as they were before -->> edit: anyone suggestions to get this back ?? <<--

No premiere 1,2 and so on are now sky cinema, sky cinema +1 and so on.
When the Premiere was availably throught Nagra 2 encription system there where Premeiere Pay-Per-View channels and they where also available throught the Nagra 2 encription system.

Now they changed to Nagra 3 and this channels are available throught the Pay-Per-View and over CS but someone must send the codes for this channels to us.
This pay-per-view channels cost about 4 Euros per Movie and the sport cost over 15 Euros sometimes. For example the same channels cost in Italy Sky 2,5 Euros and you can watch the movie for hole day and not just one time like in Sky Germany.

thanks, is what I feared ; I presume the sky uk movies are the same as the german ones (so not open by cccam, and also not likely to become open one day?).
