thanks, glad I'm not the only one who can only enter the clines and nothing more.

It's been asked here somewhere recently, but I think there wasn't an answer to the following kind of question: you say that 'some lines are quite good': how do you see/test this? Is is by entering the cline (which takes me a while = manually, and I'm always afraid to mix things up and enter 2 of the same server at the same time) and checking one by one? Or (which I hope) is there a possibility to see somehow how 'good' the cline is, and even better what packages and/or channels are open?

I always check the lines with Gogoli1's program, and then enter one if it's 'good'.

I hope I'm clear, and thanks in advance for your appreciated feedback!

firstly ive never used any cline tester, i have entered them at random an found that only certain chns were pretty good with servers3/4. hit an miss really, but as you said in previous posts there free so no one can complain, when you get your own exclusive line for server2 you will be very pleased, server2 lines are for your own personal use, so it will not be posted all over the web.
i hope this clears things up a little bit more for you, the box i use is a spider7000 which i got for hd viewing and channels i receive is more than ample from most sats.

Yes, clearer now, I'm just getting more and more anxious about the famous server 2, and even more curious if it'll be an improvement.

As far as I know your spider7000 is good comparable with my mvision, so there's still hope

Theoretically you're right, but - again, only client box -> that could well be the problem - I really didn't see differences between the more exclusive lines of server 4 (eg 15 or 30 posts), nor between the more exclusive lines of server 3 (eg 50 or more), and I did a lot of testing a few weeks ago.

yes, that's true.

I have another question on this (may seem stupid for a lot of you guys, but want to ask it anyway): should server 3 with let's say 400 cards be more stable than server 4 with +/- 250 cards or vice versa? And why? Reason I want to know, is that I find both of them not very stable - so: which line should I put in my box to get the best result: one of server 3, one of server 4 or both of them (really didn't find the 'best' option until now)?

normally server4 better cards, more local. but again to many interuptions as these get used all over the web as mentioned before.

ok, quite logical

can just be confirmed which is the best option to enter in my box: only a line of server 4 or a line of server 3+4 at the same time (= more cards, but maybe less stable because of interference/swichting?)?

pan1100, if you like i think you know that you can have a line in your box by both servers, remember server3 change every day, server4 every three days.

I know I can enter a line of 2 servers, but after testing a lot, I still don't know what's best to have less freezes and better stability: only 1 or better 2? Or perhaps is really the same ; problem is now when I'm watching something, mostly freezing starts and then I start changing the lines/servers, but mostly without result and ending up without seeing the end of the program .

Further, on a few packages, the channels open for about 3-5 mins, and then start freezing or sometimes complete scrambled. Any suggestions to help me here (again: only client box)? I'm afraid not, but who knows ...

Didn't notice yet server 4 changes every 3 days.

pan1100, why not get a line from a paid server, i have n/line from paid server not expensive, or get line from here.

- I can't put in a prio file (client box, only thing I can do is manually entering a c- or nline)
- about payserver: I know, I really know, but here I have one massive obstabcle, which I can't defeat: THE MRS! We have an 'agreement' that I can do all I want and play with my boxes, as long it stays for free. As much as I want, payservers are out of my reach now. and not really , I know!

I am still getting no result with c lines from satlover.com servers and my dreambox 500s. I noticed that yesterday were published new lists of free servers and I started trying with them. I picked some c lines from the Server Three list and checked with Gogoli1's program. When I see they are good I put them in the CCcam.cfg file and restart my box, but still there is no decoding of the encrypted channels.
The web interface of the CCcam is giving me that there is a connection and number of the cards is 420, but still when I run cccam -dv I am getting the "no working cam devices, no need to start pmthandler" at the end.
I run CCcam -dn in telnet session to my box and see that it says it enters in cccam.satlover.com server with username and password, then it says that the logging is successful, but again after this is the message "no working cam devices, no need to start pmthandler".
I tried too many times and with many c lines from the Server Three list so I am thinking whether something else might be the problem, but not the servers. Might it be my CCcam is not working properly? Why in web interface of cccam I see it is connected and found 420 cards, but in CCcam -dv I don't see caids of these cards?
Can I do some more diagnostic to see where is the problem?
