Re: server located in germany -> secure??
Well that store who sold pirat tv was offcource closed and all the electronic taken by the police. We are talking about thousands of people wh had subscribed to this store and the police here in Norway(word richest in the world) have some police that only have money to pay the parking and speed ticket police department. So the police didn't do anything big against all the clients but the store owners was arrested and probably other sanction. But when the anti pirat tv organization here in Norway caught smaller cs community the police investigate, find the clients who used the cs community and give them a ticket of 2000$+. So here in Norway and probably other places in the world, it is not a good idea to grow a big cs community.
PST!! i was not a subscriber of that storeComment

Re: server located in germany -> secure??
Its good to hear that you were not involved, duhoki. I never knew that there is a anti pirate tv organisation in action in Norway. I always thought that there is no law about the CS in the European Union and they stil use the Anti Piracy law for CS.If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Re: server located in germany -> secure??
When the tv providers lose millions of money then this is what happens. Here in nordic it is almost only viasat and canal digital nordic inn use and when cs community grows big and they lose more and more legal subscriber, then they will create organization like this. I think this organization was not started by Norway but by Sweden as both canal digital nordic and viasat is owned by them. On their website(****** stop nordic) there is info about every time they caught cs community. So this organization is for nordic TV-industry in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland to stop piracy.Comment

Re: server located in germany -> secure??
I won't be surprised if sly uk has started some organisation like this. They have got about 8 million customers at the moment but its very expensive if you go for sports and movies in HD. They are losing lots of money via cs and soon or later they will introduce something. I think the first thing they introduce, they will start scanning their own broadband's (sly broadband) customers. If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Re: server located in germany -> secure??
about a year ago virginmedia sent letters to all its subscribers to not to do file sharing otherwise their connection will be cut off. A few colleagues of mine got the same letter. They replied back to virgin saying that what else they can do with an over priced 100mb download speed and unlimited downloads. Never heard back from Virgin, LOLIf you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment

Re: server located in germany -> secure??
Yes that is true. If you're not filesharing what are you going to do with a 100mb broadband speed?
I have 30mb and it is more than enough to stream hd content, etc.
They have actually blocked a few filesharing websites!Comment

Re: server located in germany -> secure??
agree, but I always deactivate the server (also safe, easier for me - can be done by the Remote Control) and when I think about it I even put in on a FTA channel before putting on standby. Just in case ...Comment

Re: server located in germany -> secure??
not ok for me to turn always off / on cam ... also shutdown the box is not a practicable opinion for me, maybe i should set the timer
But it still does nothing of the fact that youre connected to the server (ok, not so often if you turn off box). and the server could be unsecure, no one knows .....
degree trying to find a anonymous proxy, then set only one route for the stb to get over. probably little bit tricky.
easyier would be if in newer oscam versions wourld be a proxy interface integrated which would lead only server connection over the proxy...
would cause no problems with hbbtv and so on..
somebody experienced???Comment
