Hi, grateful for any advice on a problem I have with my Solo2 in that sometimes when I choose a channel on a different satellite then the Disecq switch does not appear to function properly.
As an example, if watching a channel on 28.2, then switching to a channel on 19.2 then I get the tune failed message. Looking at extended information, I see NDS encryption so it looks like it is still receiving from 28.2.
I can't 100% confirm but I think this mostly happens when both tuners are in use.
What I have tried so far is:
New Disecq switches
Swapping the cables between tuner A & B
Different images I.e. Latest VIX and Blackhole images.
My suspicion is that there is interference between the two coax cables which is preventing the right signal from getting to the switch.
Does that sound likely or is there another possibility that I've missed?
Thanks
