    Hello koppi

I am one of those who suggest openpli

I had BH image in the past and I was having many problems as you.

I believe the cause of the problem for BH image is that has many plugins built-in and it's very easy to get a crash because the system become unstable.

In my opinion, a novice user it's better to use openpli and to select carefully one by one the plugins that he really need.

Openpli4 its rock stable and I think that will never disappoint you.

    Why you don't test it?

To be honest I am fed up with BH crashes,

            Hi toby69

Try to reflash you box as dear runmo said above.

If you can't flash it, then it's a problem of the board.

If I'm not mistaken the power supply of your box is internal,
so it's very difficult to test it with another one.

But you can take a look inside the box for a blown capacitor or something else burned on power board area.

Also, you can ask the help of an electronic lab to examine the power board.

              thanks runmo/kalpikos,
last night checked internal of box, all seemed ok,
today reflashed image (same as before saved on usb stick),
and image back on box connecting to tv also, so now all ok.

              what caused the problem, ???

a few days earlier in plugin (streamtv) i entered some iptv link
codes for sport chns, worked, but unviewable.

only thing i can think of is perhaps virus in these codes.

              thanks again for your time.

Re: vu+ solo questions and support

First off all, it's good that your box works again. I don't think the iptv link codes caused the problems. It could be the installed image it self. Myself did to reflash my vu duo in the past because image crashed. Anyway whatever the reason, if reflashing helps that's the most important.

                  I'm happy for you
that you solved the problem and saved your box.

I have never heard about a virus in linux boxes

Τhe most likely, the plugin caused the problem.

Sometime the plugins overwrite critical data with errors and that can make the box unstable.

Just a week before, I reflashed my revceiver because of a plugin that caused big problem and made my box to lost their ability to play iptv links directly from my bouquets.

Maybe we have to be more careful on what plugins we are installing
