That link above is not for Vix 2.3 - its for the Vu+ Duo Bootloader which must be installed before installing the image

This image requires the latest bootloader (attached to this post) to be flashed. 
This is because Vu+ have changed the way the drivers work. 
So, before updating your image, you will need to first flash the bootloader, then flash the new image. 
Flashing of new bootloader only takes a few seconds, so once flashing's completed, then just turn off the box, 
transfer the new image to the usb stick, and flash with that. 
Also, it is recommended to NOT use older images with this new boot loader, as this may result in a bricked box.

[B][COLOR="Navy"][COLOR="Teal"]THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN COMPILED WITH THE NEWEST LINUX KERNEL AVAILABLE FOR OUR BOXES.

WARNING: THIS IMAGE USES A NEW FILESYSTEM AND IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIBOOT OR WITH OLD PERSONAL BACKUP.
THIS IMAGE HAS TO BE INSTALLED IN THE FLASH.

THE MOST COMMONLY USED USB TUNER DRIVERS ARE NOW INCLUDED IN THIS IMAGE AND ARE AUTO_DETECTED.(hauppauge win n***, aver volar, aver a867 ecc..)
THIS MEANS THAT YOU CAN BOOT THE IMAGE WITH THE USB TUNER INSIDE AND IT WILL BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE AND WORKING.
For this reason the Usb dtt panel has been removed, because it is no longer needed.
More drivers will be available soon.

THE WIRELESS management has been changed to use the Vuplus proprietary system plugin and Wpa supplicant have been updated
to the latest version.

The HDMI-CEC panel has been removed because Black Hole firmware has switched to native Vuplus Hdmi-Cec implementation.
So you can now find Hdmi-Cec config in the plugins list.

This image is totally new inside.

WARNING: This Image has the latest drivers and CAN NOT be installed in multiboot.
The image MUST be installed in the flash.
Black Hole can not support images not installed in the flash.

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:
- Integrated OpenEpg
- Rytec dedicated epg.dat
- New system epg.dat outside.
This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.
Community members can then download it from our servers.
This feature provides other benefits such as:
Increase download speed of EPG
Download EPG from any channel
Schedule the download of EPG decoder even during standby
Users can customize the providers using Add / Remove function

Flash the original BlackHole 1.6.7 image, setup mountpoint for your usb device then use the BlackHole Personal Backup.

Unable to take full USB backup as the new kernel uses the new Ubifs file system that is not compatible with old tools designed for JFFS2 file system.

This Personal Backup is UK ready with Oscam and CCcam editted for updating entitlements
