Problem with my Clarke tech

Hi i have a problem with my Clarke tech 550PVR, i can't see some channel, i can see it is connected with my c*l*i*nes, sometimes i can hear audio but i can't see anything but satellite signal is very good about 80%! Someone can help me?

Hi peppe893, did you scan for channels lately? when you say "some channels" what do you mean? what about FTA are they ok? maybe your problem is your lines or the internet connection so give us more info.

I have had same problem, but i think, for me it was the cline that caused the problem. Changing server fixed for me. After some time the cs server with problem got fixed. So try with another cline to see if thats the problem.

so with "some channels" i mean i can see some channels and with the same C*l*i*nes i can't see other channel for example i can see S*k*y Sport24 but i can't see M*i*lan Channel. And other times i can hear some channel like S*C*C but i can't see it but the satellite signal is 80%. However I use 2 different C*l*i*nes. I edited channel list 25/04/2013

Some channels only encrypt the video part of the signal. This means you can hear the audio but with a black screen. As you are getting the audio and a good signal I'd say this is probably something to do with your softcam or your lines. Have you tried alternative lines or softcams?

Not now! I haven't other line to try! Now I have another problem, probably my decoder doesn't support remote control, because i can change channel to bouquets but i can't use remote control, so any button I press nothing appen on decoder!

stupid question, but you sure it is not batteri problem on you remote control? Alo regardign testing with another cline, you can test with satlover free server to see if it opens or not.

I'm using C*c*a*m 2.0.1, and i use control by remote on my lap top because i lost remote control! ahahaha however i can't use free satlover line because i have problems on S*k*y Ita and S*T*C and on free line itìs impossible to see something in this channel for freeze!

I'm using C*c*a*m 2.0.1

Upgrade to version 2.3.0, see if that helps. 2.0.1 is really quite old and outdated now.

You need to FTP into the box with something like FileZilla and upload the newer version of CCCam in place of the old one.

It is quite simple, FTP into your box, find where CCCcam is already located and copy the new version over it. Your cccam.cfg file can stay the same. You'll probably find your current version of CCCam in a folder called Softcams.
