This option is the twin protocol ,like rs232 protocol called in other receivers etc.
Maybe you need it for future use.

      Prioritise c line on SB7000HD.

      1) Press '<-PR'
      2) Choose line with arrow buttons
      3) Press 'Fn1'

Is it working OK apart from that? Really odd problem, can't say I ever heard of this before.
Is yours one of the Energy saving ones, maybe turn off if so. Do you have Summer time switched on or off? Mine currently set GMT +1 Summer time off, Power saving on, Auto power saving off,and no problems.

Try entering the time using the buttons on the STB rather than on the remote.
I read somewhere that that worked for someone else who was having the same problem.

                  Re: Spiderbox Owners Chat!

I find that the 9000 randomly loses 15 minutes or so if I disconnect from network or a cline goes down., a bit of an unusual fault but hey I don't care too much

The only time my box is hours out is when I leave the dish pointing to 42 East and then switch the box off !

(When we have strong winds I tend to position my dish at 42 East, so that it is not left facing into the wind).

Turning my modem and box on, then returning the dish to 28 East resolves time problem for me.

This will happen when a dish is focused on Sat in a different time zone and usually affects people when they are trying to set a recording on a different satellite, I do not think that this is the same problem that thecrazybandit has.

                      Regards Mobley3

You are right m8 the problem is the box is loosing time i can leave it on 28 east and the box will show the correct time come back to it a few hours later after the box has been on standby and it is incorrect again

                          Re: Spiderbox Owners Chat!

Does your box have a setting when you set it up for your location maybe your location is set wrong if so it will alter the time to that location setting.

Just had a look at the manual there is a location setting for the time if this is set wrong the box will keep adjusting the time for the location setting

Unless you disable the auto time function it will lock onto the appropriate local time of the last channel you are on, if a dish is moved it may lock onto the wrong channel and thus the wrong time.

Hi in the time settings is there a setting for summer time, if there is it needs to be set to that or it will make it 1 hour different and keep reverting back
