If you press the EPG button on the remote and then the Blue button you may find some more information on certain channels and sats. I know that some of the German channels on 19E give more information, you may want to check it out on some others, unfortunately on 28E you get what you get.

Yes that was the one I was referring to, and as you say if you switched off you had to do it all over again and even then it seems to have been more trouble than it was worth.

The EPG information is provided by the channel provider it does not have anything to do with the receiver, the Rytec files that were around apparently do not seem to be very reliable, maybe work better on some STB's than others.

Thanks bro i got a nice program from give away of the day called Aisee soft total media converter,i can load trf files straight into it edit them then convert to file any type in HD ,tried most of them to find best quality for lowest file size and the result was Xvid at 4000kbs ,the quality is amazing ,think i was lucky to find a program that does everything.

Just found this info on converting TRP files

    MpegStreamclip (_http://www.squared5.com) to convert trp-files to mpeg-files.

Use Apple QuickTime 7 free player (_http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html) with MpegStreamclip, because this combination works better.

To edit "DVDVideosoft Free VideoDup" (_http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products...-Video-Dub.htm) for cutting my mpeg-files.

yes router was changed still same probs when i take the spiderbox off and replace it with black panther 2card stb theres no probs. the spider is 18mth
old and still going strong ethernet as no probs but its ncamd when i check
it still shows connect 1card but scrambled channel so i reboot stb and recheck still shows connect 1card. so have to go into client setup and off and on with ncamd and then channels opens up its been like this a few weeks now allso
done factory reset would like to get it sorted as it records better then my other stbs with wd hardrive when it doesnt mess up.
