Any box that has ethernet port on it plus accepts configuration files (cfg file ) will do for clines or nlines. If you have these 2 things you will not need any more boxes

Hi again, Istill can't use the cfg file through the usb, I am entering them manually, it is not a problem, however I am trying to use the newcamd feature as I heard it is more stable with spiderboxes, my question is how to enter the newcamd, I tried but couldn't connect any help would be appreciated.

Reading through lots of posts on this great site I have the following questions.

1 Without getting a new box, The card sharing option with my boxes is out? correct?

          2. A new box, apart from the cost, and the card sharing capability, in theory would not be that much better than what I have with a "C" line?

A new box like Spider 9900 (or a similar box to share card) would cost around £220 + a card another 50 +. Would I get more this route or get much the same keeping what I have already and using pay lines. Would be a shame to have 2 more boxes gathering dust....

3 There was a discussion regarding having a dedicated server?? Do I need one of these?

4 I just read another post regarding prio? Not sure what that does at all...

Sorry for all of the questions. Just want to get more advice before dishing out the money. Toby69, you mentioned you have a line for £69 is that just for sly? And have you used the premium lines here?

Thanks for any help you can give. Cheers
hi steve7772, yes i do have a line for sly, bit cheaper than your quote, best thing you can do is fire up your 7000, no doubt already done, i have same model, do a bit of reading on this great site an experiment with the free lines availble here, any questions fire away plenty on here with spiders very helpful, ps best to start new thread in english section as this thread could be overlooked.

Newcamd is for actual card reading not clines your getting confused concerto I think m8. Nlines is the one your after I think they are entered the same as clines except you use the DES Key. Think you will have to explain what your using and what you want the end product to be????

To enter Nlines just toggle the line from Cccam to Newcamd, note that the free Satlover lines are Cccam only though so you will need to source the nline from elsewhere.

n/lines also mainly for one package, = different port numbers for different packages

Thank you all, as a noob I meant enterning the nline I still can't get it to connect, I am just puting in the information in as the cline, it might be the nlines themselves, they don't work, I know you need ID, dez key, password, port and the user, I just want to see if they are better than clines, as all clines I am using they freeze all the time and take agood few minutes to reconnect.

as redhezuk said in his earlier post, you have to toggle and choose newcamd instead of cccam in the spiderbox. the dez keys, you don't need to input them as they are automatically put there, right?
each port number opens a specific package as specified in the posts. are u using the nlines from here or from other forum?

                          Re: Spiderbox Owners Chat!

I'm also happy with my Spiderb 9000 HD. I like the picture quality and also that he's easy to use. All is fine, but I find it a pitty that he's more sensitive to freezes (also nlines), than another box I have. But for the rest, all is ok. But now, I have a question:

Had you ever problems with scanning a satellite ?
Lately, when I auto-scan a satellite's transponders, sometimes he stops with adding channels in the middle of the transponders list. All the latests transponders give then 0 radio/TV channels. Even there are working channels on it. Then I need to rescan that satellite a second time. Mostly the second time it's ok. But it's a little annoying, when he has these moments of strange behaviour.

You goto the usb menu and select the file from the list of those on your usb device. See this thread for more info:

Help please, with my Spiderbox 9000HD I am fine with loading c-lines but not with n-lines.
                                For c-lines I go to 'Network'/client Setup/line1/select cccam and enter details .
For n-lines I try the same but select newcamd.
However I now see at the bottom of the network screen a box for NEWCAMD server setup.
Is this an alternative route to input info. or am I missing something?
