They have been released. Think they were released around the same time as the Solo2.

Here is a link from a reliable online retailer. £ 59 seems to be the going price.

Of course you can't rely to much on this type of test but if it means the difference between receiving channels or not In a fringe area, how can you knock it? At the moment where we are we have torrential rain and 90 kl/hr winds.. A friend of mine on his 90cm dish had lost all signal so I have just been down and connected the Relook and he is now watching 28 east, also the tests I did were not one offs but done on numerous occasions. So a bit of a coincidence that they were all the same results.

Did you also try to swap back the receivers ?

I guess tuner sensitivity is not knowledge common to the enthusiast. I have been trying to research this but not finding much info. thought maybe I could get some insight here.

Sensitivity figures might not always give an accurate account of viewing experience. Look at LNBs: many manufacturers will rig their tests so that their product will have as low a noise figure as possible but most enhusiasts would go for a 0.2 Inverto over cheap LNBs with lower published figures.

With this in mind, I'd go for Digicon's experience-based list over possibly massaged/hyped sensitivity figures.

(Also, surprised to see the skybox come out so well in the list!)

Tuners also getting smarter as LNB, As I change my DM 800 HD tuner L with rev. M. It improves the signal quality much better on some weak signals. But I can't even compile a result, because on some DVB-s channels it lock the signal on 31 % and picture is ok with out any glitches. On other hand on some DVB-s2 channels it fails to lock the signals on above 50% .

                    Hi Yiselim,
what I can say based on my experiece is that ok for LNB quality but it depends even for tuner sensibility on board.
In fact for example I saw on Goldbox Philips tuner on 6071 was more sensible than 6072 so on 6071 it's possiblew to reach Symbole Rate like 6666 !
                    Best regards.

VU+Solo2 the good thing about silicon based tuners with a fast processor. rather than tuner CAN's as software/firmware patches can improve them and future proof them for other standards that may be broadcast.......

ofcourse sensitivity of receivers depend to image. some image receive signals better than others but according my experience hd receivers commonly have weaker tuner that i dont know why while old receivers have stronger.

I think it is Hardware issue, How can image change the sensitivity of tuner

An Image does not control the sensitivity of the tuner only Harsware drivers can control the Tuner stage, Images have nothing at all to do with it.

                              hi guys

indeed, image has nothing to do with tuner sensitivity - and true: not every tuner is very sensitive - other things are important, such as dish size, dish alignment, and (but less): cables, connectors, distances, splitters, ...

i am especialy wondering the tuner sensitivity of gigablue 800se-vu solo-vu uno-dm500hd -dm800se or any other linux based receivers.
or is possible that the both tested receivers to have low sesibility
