    Re: Dark Motor

I use both Clarke Tech DiSEqC Motor HH 390 and STAB HH 120.

    Clarke Tech DiSEqC Motor HH 390 - velocity of rotation: 1,9 °/sec (at 13V); 2,5 °/sec (at 18V)
    STAB HH 100(cm) - velocity of rotation: 1,8°/sec (at 18V) 1,2°/sec (at 13V) – maximum dish weight 12 Kg
    STAB HH 120(cm) - velocity of rotation: 1,1°/s (at 18V) 0,8°/s (at 13V) – maximum dish weight 17 Kg

I must say the STAB HH 120 is the best, most resistant and more expensive....about €75.
Be careful about the dish weight.
    Get an aluminium dish

I have to agree here i use the TM2300 for any size up to 90 and for 1m and above go for the TM2600 with all metal gearing a solid performer.

Another installer mate of mine also swears by either the TM's or the dark motor the choice is yours, IMHO if your going over 1m make sure you get metal gears

but I think you are referring to a 140 cm aluminum disc, because a disc of iron it weighs much more.

I think you should have a look on technomate, they have excellent range of motors and with very good prices
