Skytec, that is quite a collection of cards you have there! I've a few of them myself over the years!

Thank You Digi Tv on Thor 0.1w

For me having absolutely NO satellite knowledge, finding out that you could get Digi Tv for free(N2) was an inspiration, as I'm sure it was for many joining a rather "Underground and Alien" environment. Splashed out on a 1m motorised dish and proceeded to mount it as high on my house as possible. Damm that thing looked big.

Fortunately, with a bit of experiece under my belt, it is now at ground level and works just good. But what a laugh it was trying to mount it from the top of a lader 5m up.

I have an old Wineguard 1.2m mesh dish the smallest one they made in one piece instead of petallised, the mount is thick coated steel and weighs a ton, it took a friend and myself with two ladders to get it and the paving slab it's bolted to onto the garage roof. I was sure I'd get complaints but my nearest neighbour got me to set him up too. It looked huge at first but the longer it's been up the smaller it seems to get, rain shrinkage !!

My first decoder was analog system with fixed dish and two LNB 13 and 19est.
This was an Echostar. I followed all free sat in enghlish language to improve mine.
From that i started to study Sat systems and codes.
                  Regards
