Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
What satellite did you use as your reference sat when installing? And is it the one that is closest to your position (eg, I'm at 1e, closest sat to me is 1w)?Technomate TM600 + 1m motorised dish (TM2300 motor).

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
or maybe the hispassat can't be received in your area
check the satellites map to see if the satellite is broadcasting in your country
For Europe
For America

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
The problem is not the LNB if you've good signal on other satellites, so don't change it is not there the problem.Just click on thanks button if my post has helped you

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
@tonybod
I used Astra 19.2°E as my reference. It's closest to my position. My place Longitude is 20.7000°E. There is not satellite which is closer.
@anacondama
On your map for Europe my location is between lines 48 and 50. Maybe it's normal that I have such signal.
Best regards.Comment

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
You can try to set it manualy and see will you get any more signal but 7,2 is very good, I with SS2 have picture 2db and when is 7,2db it must be hevy rain to lose signal. So I dont think you will get more signal with regular dish, if you have dish about 120cm then you shuld have more signal but with 80-90cm this is OK.Comment

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
I tested now on couple of transponders with my 80cm dish and I have 9.7db signal, my dish is noname cheapest one and 5-6 years old so you shuld have lot more signal then me.
And you are not far away since I live maybe 30km from Serbia, so results shuld be more or less same.Comment

Re: Bad signal strenght on the west
Well and did signal increased when you've done this test? Or 7,2 db you have without push on dish? If you've reach the max signal pushing the dish this means it is not well pointed.Just click on thanks button if my post has helped you
