    210 is way to large, he isnt SETI so he need so large dish, 1.1-1.2m is best, you can mount them on most motors and they will heve lot of signal even if wether is bad.
    Me with 80cm noname dish have everything I need from 42E-30W, didnt go any furthure, so 1.1m is enought if it is well mounted if it isnt then you shuld have 2m dish.

      It depends by where you're and what you wanna receive. Watch satellites footprints here: _http://www.lyngsat.com/ so then you can decide what dish to install, anyway if you're in Europe 1 mt dish is enough for most of satellites, except for dedicated area beams, like 28,8 east (UK beam) or 1 west (nordic beam) if you'ren't into area of beam.

        Yes that's right, it depends a lot from where you are living and where your dish is installed.
        Myself I have a dish from 120 cm and the signal is very good in general, also with bad weather. Before I had a 80cm dish, and signal was less good for some satellites. For example Nilesat and Sirius.
        So I think minimum 100cm maximum 120cm should be enough when you work with rotor.

            @zoran89

            Do you have DiSEqC or motor with actuator? What's your experience with those two types of motors? Which motor gets better results?

            Best regards

              I have diseqc motor, dont have experience with actuator, but Diseqc motor is very good if you setup well you will get max signal on every sattelit, like if you setup dish without motor.

              Only I have motor with plastic gears, and it is lot better to have with metal gears.

                I've two motorized dishes, one with actuator other with Usals motor.
                Actuators needs a specific positioner with a cable with 4 wires inside a couple for motor sensor and a couple for motor power. On market I don't think you can find now a receiver with positioner built in for actuators, it was common when was analogic receivers. The most vantage of actuator system is the strongest of system, I've this kind of motor on roof from 10 years and it still works, it is good for big dishes with high weight, you can move also dishes around 3 meters with actuator. But you need to have the dish mounted on a polar mount to use actuator.

                Usals motors are really cheap instead actuators aslo more simply to set up, you can mount every dish on it without have a polarmount, clearly Usals motors and also DiseqC motors are not so strongs like actuators, so you can mount up just allumin dishes until 1,2 mt of size. If you wanna watch C band you'll need actuator because C band needs big dishes to be received. In other cases Usals motor or Diseqc motors are enough for KU band.
