Very good news!!!

It seems that he find a way to brake the encryption but I don't know what will be happened if Powervu makes some changes in encryption keys.

For example, if they proceed to creation of a blacklist with blocked encryption keys, will he be able to find new keys?

By what i've read so far , the encryption algorithm is very old and there are more than one way to decrypt it . Also the official Scientific Atlanta receivers that are in use nowadays cannot cope with with a more complex key string as the processors are slow .

Will wait and see if one day we can watch PV channels using emu . Would be nice .

I have still got a old Scientific Atlanta receiver in the loft it is over ten years old is there many providers still using powervu

Apart from AFN on 9E. Animal Planet & Betfred on 4.8E
and SNAI on 16E not a lot.

It seems to be true...

The hacked is called Colibri

I have read on many forums about that,
but only time will show if some working keys will be released in public

So far, PowerVu has not yet issued any stream updates to close the exploit discovered by him.

We have to wait for some months in order to say for sure if PowerVu encryption is hacked.

PowerVu keys for C-band satellite 135W have been found.
Still have not seen any public key yet.

I made a little searche about it and I found that CWS keys for sharing it's unlikely to be happened soon.
It's very difficult and I'm sure that they will want to earn some money.

Probably it will be released like emu soft.

I hope they will release a patch for the TM 5402 M1 .. and there is talk of releasing on Cristor Atlas .

I know that the manufacturers want to sell new gear all the time ... it's business , but if the box it's fairly recent it should work .
Like these Technomates for example , people paid a lot of money for the M1 barely 8 months ago .. to find out that it's not supported by the new patches . They are virtually the same receiver M1 , M2 and M3 , it's just the latter 2 are of inferior build as i understand it , weaker tuner . It's just odd . Rant over .
