    Re: Powervu has been hacked

I think you have to realise that the 5402Hd M1 version was initially released over 5 years ago and personally i dont know any manufacturer of any electrical item such as TV,Blu Ray etc.. that actually keep supporting products that are 5 years old.

My Samsung Smart TV which is approx 4 years old lost support after 2 years, If we all had support for old products then no one would buy anything new when technology changes.

I am unsure where you managed to source an M1 version just over 8 months ago as the M1 was phased out around 3 years ago to be replaced by the M2 and now the M3 which is approaching 18 months old

Yes: there is a good and simple plugin for Dvbviewer and one for DvbDream, I tried them both.

                    Re: Powervu has been hacked

Just another Update But the PowerVu emulator was released for all earlier capable Technomate receivers in a patched firmware so models 5402HD M1 & M2 as well as 6900,6902,7100,7102 all now have a test patch with the emu included.

Oscam patched was release for all available Linux enigma2 receivers and it works 100%

                      Hi

Is there any way to make it work with cccam or mgcamd?

I tried both of them with a SoftCam.Key including Powervu keys but without luck.

No! the powervu emulator only works with the powervu Oscam_Emu and softcam keys, there are guides on how to get it working correctly but i can tell you now it is not easy.

Oscam Emu now support opening of PowerVu channels in Enigma2 through "Stream Relay method". Everything happens inside the STB, no PC required. Enigma2 streams to oscam-emu, and oscam-emu streams back to Enigma-2. All on the STB. You can watch on Enigma2 directly. You can add the stream URL to your channel list, and directly watch on the E2. So, the stream relay needs a fast CPU.

But as it seems no solution for cccam in the near future?
