Have you tried to scan for channels for a transponder from a telnet session? Is it possible?

do you mean such a script to ask enigma to loop all over the spectrum and check the snr for a rf signal ?

Is there a particular reason you want to do that?

If you are at home, you can do it manually from the remote control of your box.

if you aren't at home, you can do it remotely by using the web interface of your box after opening a external port on your router.

by the way, i would ask here to our friend if their image do support or not aitp scanning facilities

do you know some image, or some satbox brand who does not support scan ?

I was thinking about scanning at night. I have 6 lnb's. Would bee Nice to initiate a scan in cron.

if you've got (like i have on my basic dm model)
such an auto scan function

it is so easy to click and sleep to get the list,

ie the services lists
and even more, they are listed in such a new-services new list
