I have similar problem but another transponders. Just checked manually, and I have every single frequency except 11919 and 12539.
Most signals are very strong and can get only worse if I slightly move the dish or lnb skew...

My last guess is that there's an external interference , maybe a firm or a natural thing who block this frequency ... i don't know what else to think.
If your receiver works OK at your friends house then there is obviously nothing wrong with the tuner in it, also the fact that you receive all other frequencies makes it highly unlikely that there is anything wrong with the Lnb, or your alignment of your dish. As I suggested in an earlier post, can you borrow your friends receiver and see if it works OK in your set-up. You should check for any sharp kinks in the cable or water ingress which can also cancel certain frequencies, if you have a Dect telephone move it further away from you set-up or temporarily disconnect it.

        Hi cgac99

Do you have fixed dish or morized?
Is there only one lnb or you have a multi-lnb set up?

Also, take a look to the cables from the dish to your receiver.

Both of these transponders now broadcast in ACM/VCM standard, you will not be able to receive them on a standard STB, you would have to invest in a professional receiver, or buy a TBS6925 tuner card for your computer. ****** ACM.

Aaah that's the catch. I didn't know anything about acm/vcm just heard for the first time, so I'll use ****** for some info. I use SkyStar HD2 PCI card. It just seemed strange to me, so I mentioned it, and those frequencies are not important to me (as long as there are few of them ).

I suppose I could recognize such transponders in the future by that "multistream" mark on lyngsat?

If you are Interested in these Type of transponders, you Should try Some TBS DVB-Cards , They are capable to receive that kind of signals

11681 frequency on Hotbird is transmitted on DVB-S2 standard and 8PSK modulation.so your receiver should be supporting HD and the tuner DVB-S2

This said TP have no issue with modulation, but need correct Alignment of Dish Antenna
