Cant Get 11,681 On Hot Bird

Hi guys,
Since some time now i cannot get any signal from this frequency on hot bird.
It belongs to BIS a french provider.
I have all the other signals of Hot Bird, but 11,681 H 27500 3/4 ... nothing.
Even when i try to scan manualy i have 0.0 db on this frequency.

Do someone know why this frequency cannot be get ?
Is the signal super lower than any other TP on Hot Bird ?
Or is the frequency on king of sat be wrong ?

Any idea of what can i do ?

With my dm500s i cannot get signal - the BER is too high.

Coming in strong for me in Dublin on 1Mtr dish S 85% Q 98%. Is there any possibility of interference from a Dect telephone or any other interference ?

also here coming in just fine - which receiver do you have? -> that tp is DVB-S2 - 8PSK, which practically means you need a hd-receiver and the 8 psk is the most difficult to receive (and can be heavy influenced by weather conditions).

I receive perfect this transporter with all channels on my vu+solo2.
The signal is 87% with my 120cm dish centered on astra 19.2 with multifeed lnbs.

I assume that you have a HD receiver because the transporter is dvb-s2 which means that these channels cannot be watched on a sd receiver enigma 1.

Try a ready made channel list as Vhannibal settings because it's possible your receiver can't see this frequency.

Transponder HB 11681 MHz, pol. H, 27500 , 3/4, 8PSK tested on 1m dish
signal 14dB.

Is your dish optimally set with correct LNB skew?

Maybe your dish has lost his alignment due to strong winds and you can't receive correctly all the transporters.
You have to check if something moved on your installation.

An other answer to your problem could be a hardware malfunction of your receiver.

Which receiver do you have?
Can you pull out the tuner from the box and put it again back?

Many times there is some failure on the connection of the tuner with the receiver and some other times the tuner doesn't works due to hardware malfunction ok and lost some transporters.

Do you getting other DVB-S2 TP , What about 12692 from Hotbird ?

Hello there, thankl's for the answers and sorry for my delay.
Well , i have a ClarckTrend ET9000 runing latest E2.

I do receive any frequency of HB included 12692 with 13DB with a 85CM and 20M of cable.

I allready did rotate the LNB , but nothing happens.
If only i would have some readings, even much BER, i could maybe do something , but in this case, i have allready between 8 to 14DB ( depending of the frequency ) , my dish should be able to catch 11,681 too.

I guess that this particular TP have not much power , tomorow if there's no rain, i'am gonna try to move the Dish and see what happens, if you guys have it, i must have it too in the center of France or i'am gonna get crazy !

Now I sure that your problem is the align of your dish.
The dish has moved for a little and that's why you can't receive this transporter.

Try to move it slightly in order to take better signal.

Is there any friend that you could borrow a different receiver from, that way you could check to see if there is some problem with your receivers tuner?. I would not start moving the dish too much as you appear to have a good signal on the rest of the frequencies, rotating the Lnb will only help to resolve H/V transmissions if you are using a fixed-dish, although moving it in/out on the clamp may give you some extra gain.

Today i've been trying and trying ... well , nothing to catch on this TP, but it must be something at home as the same receiver do receive the frequency with smaller antena in the place of a friend. But what the hell is going on... i have every single TP of hotbird , except this one.
My last guess is that there's an external interference , maybe a firm or a natural thing who block this frequency ... i don't know what else to think.

The fact that you have signal on hotbird except this transporter means the following 2 problems.

1- Your dish has lost its align

2- your lnb is faulty

You have to check one by one all the chances.

Move slightly your dish to see if the signal can be stonger or you can turn the lnb left or right.

Finally, if you have suspicions that the frequency is "blind" on more that one satellites, you can change the lnb because maybe is faulty.
