YEAH i did. i mentioned it in post 10. i fixed the issue by changing the video/audio output to 1080i instead of 1080p for some reason it didn't fix it the other times i messed about with the a/v settings but haven't had a prob since i changed the settings. that fixed the problem but the issue must be because of the cable length or could be the box. but i was lucky enuff to stumble across the issue before i ran out and got a new hdmi cable and ran it thru the cramped attic.

don't know if any of the teams support clones and i would be afraid to ask on there forums as most won't even allow u mention them on there forums without punishment.

to be honest the glitchy noise when video/audio is set to 1080p is the only problem i have had with my vu solo clone. it has only crashed on me a few times since i got it about a month ago running vix 808, its a big improvement from my vu duo clone considering that would crash most days and at 171 euros including fedex p&p now its is definitely worth it.

p.s the controller that came with it was very noisy when buttons pressed and buttons would get stuck on it too but i told the seller and recieved another one the other day that was fine but i have been using my vu duo controller(which is far better in my opinion due to button layout) so it didn't boder me if they had sent one or not.

just for info,
All enigma2 receivers when load with many plugins or even with plugins that have bugs, became unstable causing crashes.

So, the best way is to install only the necessaries plugins and of course only these that are working correct.

ts media is the only one other than the plugins that come pre installed with vix that i install. never really came across any others that i thought were worth installing unless u guys could recommend a few?

To be honest, when I bought the vu+solo2 I used to install a lot of plugins just to see what each one does, but when I realised that the receiver became slower and unstable I desided to have only the necessaries.

Now I have also tsmedia for iptv, tspanel and trrplugin for plugins, addons etc, epg-import by rytec for epg and fan control2 to control the fan of the box.
