normal viewing habit? If this becomes acceptable in sport will it also spread to
    other broadcast premium content?

With sopcast we can have excellent streaming quality channels from Russia, for example. The question is that we donīt have english audio.

It's interesting to know what else is implemented.
I think there is a serial in cards "digits" and they are also shared...
If this could be true, i'm sure that there will be someother else implemented. It can be like a sort of "link" or "marriage" of the card to the decoder, and every information from sat can be filtered or processed by software in the card.

I do not think it is a joke.

$ly have been doing a tactic akin to this for ages in pubs, as earlier mentioned. This is undoubtably to identify those streaming these games over the internet; I don't see how it's an anti-CS measure

Streaming and cs are completly different.
Some providers have started a package of measurements against both, streaming and cs.
But if you do this as provider, you surely will loose custumers. That's the problem for the big providers in europe.
They advertise their very good picture and sound quality - but if they start with the serial card number in changing positions on the screen, lots of customers will get angry and leave.
At the moment, the most providers can live with the situation of cs and streaming. Less than 10% of all normal subscribers use cs and streaming has a poor quality so that some streaming viewers think of getting regular subscribers.

cs make it as the poor man solution

remind the fantastic marketing success of microsoft and autocat: they gain an overall monopoly position

                how it comes from
at early age, their product where spread all over the world,
                by all means,
also with tolerance for educational's and young generations
( that generation of the future )

My buddy has just renewed his card they asked a lot of questions regarding the box the customer advisor told the box is going to be paired with the card. This would make more sense than putting codes on the stream how ever the customer advisor said it was going to happen yesterday

Re: Anti CS from Premier League

Pairing is useless against internet streaming because the streamer uses the picture and sound signal from an original receiver.

Re: Anti CS from Premier League

The problem with CS measures is for people who install cable head end systems.
IE. Monitoring. If i company is already investing €300,000 on satellite hardware.

Why should they spend €100,000 on having one card for each channel ?

CS measures will not be in place for a long time, N*S will be the first to implement as CAM's are phasing out as we speak.

But for most other providers many CAM manufactures are still working and building multi service CAM's
