My PC is plugged to a HD TV 40 inches. And quality is full HD 1080p. And you can connect your PC to any device, video projector, and if your PC have a 5.1 sound card, you can plugin to a DTS, Dolby Surround system.

If your PC have a VGA, DVI, HDMI output connection you can connect your PC to any device.

Your PC always will be you PC, as ever, but now you will be able to watch sat tv with HD quality.

So the supported O.S. are XP, and Win7. I don't know if Win8 is supported.
But if you want you can made an XP Hard disk partition only for SkyStar HD use.

And I forgot than SkyStar can also record programs in TS or MPEG video format in your Hard Disk.

      Best regards.
