My friend then you will have to take all the necessary equipment from here
unless you can find someone to custom make it for you there is no demand
for motorised dish set up in India also therefore no cs community. If you are
after recieving European satellites then you will need to install a big dish, 6ft
or bigger + a big motor to drive it, I am no expert but someone that might
    know is rizwan.

A big consideration would have to be the quality of broadband in india, which I've heard is not great.
The problem has been a huge increase in broadband subscribers, but no upgrading of the existing network, resulting in a drop in speed and reliability.
Apparently some 35% of internet connections in india have speeds of 256 kb or less, and very unreliable.
It's probably a bit better in the big cities, but still not great.

This is definately a big consideration as Bokkie is 100% correct.

Also, it would be wise to check satellite footprints for any satellites you are planning to receive that are European as you will struggle to pick any up without a HUGE dish!

I have no plans to receive European satellites, as people have mentioned here it would need a huge dish. I want to try and get whats available with a 1 metre motorised dish.
