Some of graphics card for PC also comes with DVI, also have some inner ports to connect audio in and deliver it through DVI cable to viewing LCD monitor by DVI to HDMI cable

DisplayPort to HDMI cable allows you to connect with Audio support compatible with MacBook and PC...But there is no digital audio connection on a DVI cable to my knowledge.

The additional benefit from DVI-I versus DVI-D is not the additional audio signal, but unfortunately, only the relatively boring and old analog video signal.
