    Receiver with two hdmi-out

    Hello,

does anyone know a receiver with two hdmi-out so that it can be used with 2 TVs simultaneously?

I'm not aware of any stb that has 2 hdmi out. There are hdmi splitters that can output to 2 sources simultaneously though. Maybe that is an option.

The problem is that I already use such a splitter (two hdmi out) which is completly used for other equipment (ps3 and dvd-rec.) and I also want to connect a sat-receiver via hdmi to tv and beamer simultaneously.
Perhaps a receiver with two tuners?

Vu+ solo2, vu+ duo, vu+ ultimo, gigablue quad, Tm twin, Dm 8000, etc. Are all twin or more tuners.
I can personally vouch for the vu+ duo as I have one. Excellent stb with huge support and is dropping in price, but it is 4 years old!
The solo2 is about to be released and looks likely to be the most powerful stb out there........ until the duo2 is released that is.

Most devices come with a single HDMI otherwise the problem would be
          the EDID.
The EDID is basically a list of acceptable resolutions and audio formats
that HDMI refers to when handshaking with devices.
A source devices looks to the end device for these capabilities even if
an intermediate device is handling the audio.
Therefore the audio and resolution of the second TV would need to
comply with that of the main display too (basically the same model tv).

I've searched a bit, but I think this receivers have only one hdmi?! Perhaps in the next generation of receivers...
It's difficult to understand why there's only one hdmi-out, perhaps the costs?

@mahrkpat: TV gets audio and video signal, beamer only video. With the switch no problem. I think in future there will be a second hdmi-out on better receivers.

I could be wrong but I think Satphoenix probably means a video sender.

Ohh, sorry, Beamer means video-projector. Shame over me, I thought it was an english word. I'm here to learn...
                  I have a full-HD-Sanyo projector with 2 hdmi in.

                    hi

Did just look, had no success either (didn't find boxes with 2 hdmi outs) - for looking on different times at different tv's a hdmi switch may be an option.
About the tv + beamer (also think this is english ) simultaniously: don't know if they are far from each other, but isn't there a possibility to use some kind of a loop through tv->beamer (I don't know this, but something similar as using laptop + 2nd screen ).

Sorry, but as far as I know there is no loopthrough possible with hdmi.
There are even mechanical switches or splitters for the hdmi signal, but these things don't work and aren't worth the money.
Some special switches or homecinema receivers have two hdmi-outputs but are expensive. As I said, I think the costs are to high at a sat receiver.

                          Hi Satphoenix

I didn't mean loopthrough with hdmi, but with a video cable (such as eg vga - they seem to exist with HD-resolution) - a said, it was just a thought

hmmm, new and 2nd thought: perhaps component cable tv->beamer ??

Don't know this switch, but I have bought a similar switch 3 years ago and it did not really work. Perhaps the new switches are better and someone who has experience can confirm. This would be then a good solution for the hdmi switching.
I think I buy a such a switch (1 in 2 out) and report. I already have a switch, but much more expensive and fully used (and good working).
