What is your result on other 8psk transponders? Do they work? What is your signal strenght?

Dear gcms! What about your problem ? Is still there ? you say in your earlier post about 12539, I think you can't receive that, because its not in MPEG2 or MPEG4

Some older or cheaper tuners have problems with 8psk. I have a skymaster dxh80 and it has problems with some transponders (28,2°) although it is only 3 years old (location west germany).

Hi: CNN has no DVB-S2 transponders on Hotbird.
We know that its DVB-S transponders in last weeks were affected by these problems:

Dont forget to work on your LNB too.

Some areas in the sub-continent suffer from the bad foot print of the satelite during different times of the day. The signal usually increases during the night time. Try to check your signal late in the evening if you still get 8PSK channels?
at night time the signals is really increased the 8psk channels i ve got at night time which are glitches and breaks but at day time i can not even think of thses channels to get it on box . there are also two two mobiles tower near my residencey may this cause the intreuption on the 8psk channels

some tuners are very sensetive and can pick up all the type of signals easily i m using tiger t 600 2 usb although it is a bit old reciver 2010 model but still work great i m watching some HD chnnels on 18 percent of signals and the clone boxes are not useful it may be dream box or any other the cheap orignal one is better than the clone one wishes and regards

u r right microchik 8psk signals are tranferred in the form of sine wave but when the wave lenght is short the speeed is high and if the wave lenght is large the speend is less i m trying to recived the HB from pak asia and the distance is too much and i m using a good quality dish with size of 5.5 feet which is a quiet big one may i need a more big dish lol which is too dangerous in the wind

8PSK is a method of compression. It's a modulation scheme. It allows more data to travel down a given stream. If you understand the concept of a sine wave. 8PSK basically sends the signal as 8 simultaneous, yet shifted sinewaves.

That's the real problem. The boxes are only SD available so you can not receive HD channels with the 8psk modulation. You must change your receiver in order to access to the HD channels worldwide. So on, you must known the sat dish diameter you need to tune the desire sat.
The pointing to the sat is so important as the previous comments, a bad sat dish alignament causes a lot of freezes or lost channels.
    Best regards.
