    I don't get good signal on HB so can't really check it myself but are there any other members who are having the same problems. Perhaps HB enthusiasts can check it for you so see if they receive the same channels. If everyone has the same problem then we may have to wait til HB team sort it out.
    By the way are you using any Diseqc Switch?

    Or does the problem exist on every 8psk-transponder? This could be another problem.
    the same problem on every 8psk channel

    Can you test with another box to see if reception (+ setup) is ok? So it would mean the problem is the box itself and you can look further there - as said here above: do you have the same problem on other satellites and on all TP's 8psk on Hotbird? Also check on eg lyngsat or king of sats it the TP is active and well entered in the box itself.
    i ve not tried an other box i m going to lend a box from my friend to cheek the signals may be it solved the problem

    @gcms,
    we would like to hear back about your problem if you have orted it yet?
    I was just thinking if you are using any Diseq switch for this dish? Try to connect it without involving DisecQ and see if you can receive the channels.
    Give us feedback.

    The problem with 8psk-signals (3bits / symbol) is that they are a bit more sensitive than qpsk (2 bits / symbol) so that sometimes you have good signals with qpsk and bad with 8psk. Another reason for this effect is a too high absorption from cables, switches, plugs...

    If you do a blind scan, most of the frequencies are found that way. Do you get the SD versions of those channels?

    First thing I'd do is try a rescan. Maybe channels have moved about?

    I'm quite informed about it ( http://www.satlover.eu/forum/satelli...n-hotbird.html ), but as far as I know this problem is not affecting any 8psk transponder.
    What did you mean about fighting for business?
    That's not the problem, read some info here:
