perhaps they would sell more as bokkie states, could be more apealing to look at, in my opinion makers bring out a new box (how much is new model) then another not long after to improve on last model, im sure there are a lot of sat enthusaists out there that have many boxes collecting cobwebs on shelves, i only own one box.

Let's hope for a reasonable price.

I think this is their way to fight clone box by launching new boxes every now and then.

I would take the Spec sheet for the machines with a pinch of salt so to speak because if that is true then the Solo2 would wipe the floor with VU's flagship the Ultimo and i cant see that happening maybe a similar Broadcom 7413 chipset.

Spec sheet are speculations, is not official.

The Official Specs might be different than the Speculation. It sounds like a great Box. Shall I wait for the new box to be out before we upgrade my system or not?

I've been trying to convince myself that I need a vu+ ultimo.
It is a great looking stb with very good specs, but not cheap at £450.
I might just wait and see what these new offerings from vu+ are like.
I think vu+ are swiftly taking over from dreambox as the stb to have.

I'd have a guess that it'll be about £350-£375. it'll have to be less tan the ultimo which currently costs about £450.

yes perhaps around that mark, but it will all depend on what deal you can get with retailers, sometimes always best to haggle these days, very tempted myself!
