      I don't agree.
Does a newsgroup give to his member the possibilities to post file anonimously?

This will be dangerous to the host.

      It is neccessary different solutions.

If news groups become popular for file sharing they will then shut these down, under the same laws if they are passed.

Yes, you're right. You can't post anonimous on it. I just wanted to say, that I've tested it a couple of months ago and that there was a lot to find. Like movies and so.

More and more file sharing servers down today it is now becoming harder to download files from these sites if they are not your files that are stored on them

                    "You cannot kill people!"
You cannot forbid to do something that it's easy to do.
In every law we'll find a gap
Since there are something is forbidden to protect very big profit of right-holders, there are always be someone to give a service for free or cheap.
The only way to crash the unwanted web resource for authorities is to place it on commercial rails.
Example is _http://lib.rus.ec, online library that stayed everything for years but now it sells books instead of letting them be downloaded for free.
But there is a backdoor left for those who can think. There's a way to get books for free, even though it's unseen at the first glance.

ps Gee, all these Marxism on the European site! I feel like young V.I.Lenin!

yes besit, perhaps there will always be gaps, but perhaps only for the chosen few, just like the income tax dodgers who have solicitors working for them, lets wait an see.

FBI closed Megaupload and it pissed me so much...

While the site was taken offline due to claims of piracy, not everyone used the site for such controversial means. I, personally, used the site to backup important photographs, home videos, and share large files between team members while working on web-based content. It truly was a much-needed and -loved service. Much like everyone else, I no longer have access to my files and fear they will be lost forever.

So forgive me if I insult anyone "Feds" but some nasty words here would be my only way of communication right now!!!

Hi Triad sorry to hear that they have locked the site to you and you cannot access your own files,
Maybe in a short while they will open up again for clients to gain access to there own files I think those sites these days for depositing your own personal files are numbered with the price of hard drives these days it is better to store at home.

                                Re: Piracey

Megaupload was very useful web resource, but there is a big difference between file sharing server, well promoted, making lot of money and for example torrent tracker. Tracker is too much closer to piracy, but it's much harder to incriminate piracy.
There were largest tracker torrents.ru, it was closed because of copyright violation, now it's called rutracker.org, it's very popular and if it loose something on yhis accident - I didn't noticed it.
